OUR SERVICES
BHAO’s services are tailored towards achieving sustainable outcomes that will result in enriched communities providing a safe and equitable chance for growth for all children and Young people. As such we not only work with Children and Young people but also offer support to Carers/ families working collaboratively with other services to form a Team around the Child.
- Outreach – Our specialist team of outreach workers work in the public with the focus on finding ‘hard to reach” children and young people and engaging them with the other services we have on offer.
- Mentoring – BHAO mentors work closely in group or one to one sessions with YP to develop positive relationships, engage and access opportunities for growth and work with SMART targets to achieve set goals.
- Therapeutic Services – BHAO offer therapeutic services that focus on building the emotional and mental resilience of children and young people, seeing challenges and trauma as opportunities for growth rather than hinderances.
- Accredited Workshops – BHAO offer workshops on a variety of different subjects pertaining to YP such as
- County Lines /. Grooming
- Contextual Safeguarding
- Sexual Exploitation
- Internet Safety
- Parental awareness
- Consequential Thinking
- DV & coercive control

- Youth clubs – BHAO offer pop up youth projects targeted at specific areas and issues, also providing HAF projects as a support to families during the school holidays.
- Appropriate Adult – BHAO offer Appropriate Adult services to YP that are at risk of offending and will support to Police interviews and Court appearances.
- Advocacy – BHAO off advocacy services to YP particularly UASC children and YP who will need support with claims of asylum and transitioning.
